The Denise Thomas Legacy Scholarship Fund

 The Denise Thomas Legacy Scholarship Fund was created to honor the life, work, and lasting impact of Denise Thomas, a passionate advocate for families, education access, financial freedom, and generational breakthrough.  Denise Thomas was a TEDx speaker, international best-selling author, and a trusted mentor to parents of college-bound teens.  She dedicated her life to helping families understand that college access did not have to come at the cost of overwhelming debt.  Denise believed that when parents are informed, intentional, and empowered, students can pursue opportunity without limits.  Her journey was one of resilience and transformation. From experiencing bankruptcy to successfully guiding her two homeschooled children through the college process, Denise helped them earn 17 scholarships totaling more than $199,000. Rather than keeping that knowledge to herself, she made it her mission to educate families, demystify the scholarship process, and help others rewrite their financial futures. Her work inspired countless parents and students to pursue higher education with confidence, clarity, and freedom.

The Denise Thomas Legacy Scholarship Fund continues her mission by supporting students who demonstrate perseverance, leadership, and a commitment to creating positive generational impact through education. More than financial assistance, this scholarship is an investment in future leaders, chain breakers, and community informing builders who understand that true success is measured not only by achievement but by the lives uplifted along the way.  Open to high school seniors, current college students, and individuals pursuing vocational or professional training, the scholarship seeks applicants who are committed to academic excellence, service, and responsible stewardship of opportunity. Recipients are selected based on character, purpose, financial need, and alignment with the values Denise lived and taught.
